Fitchburg Civic Days: 4th of July Parade
8:30am - 12:00pm Downtown FitchburgAbout This Event
President Donna Hodge invites you to come march with our group from Fitchburg State in the Fitchburg Civic Days 4th of July Parade!
You’re invited to march alongside Freddy the Falcon, our students, police cadets, university officers, faculty, staff and alumni in the Fitchburg 4th of July Parade. We’re loading our Admissions golf cart, a Fitchburg State van and the box truck with candy and goodies to share with the crowd!
Fitchburg State is one of the lead sponsors for Fitchburg Civic Days Parade on July 4th. Fitchburg State has deep roots in this community and participating in the Civic Days events allows us to celebrate that connection. This will be our fourth year marching in the parade.
We are excited to share that our very own President Hodge has been selected as this year's Grand Marshal and will be proudly leading this celebration.
On July 4th, around 8:30/9 a.m. meet at St. Bernard's Activity Center to stage for the parade (you can park in the Dutch Kitchen or ICU parking lots). The parade starts at 10 a.m. and we are done by noon. We will transport everyone back to the start.
This celebration is part of Fitchburg Civic Days, of which Fitchburg State is a sponsor. Learn more at fitchburgma.gov/civicdays.
