About This Event

As part of Human Resources and Payroll Services Development Programs join Amy Thebado, District Manager and Norma Izquierdo, Technical Expert from the Social Security Administration to learn how social security benefits impact state employees due to no contributions being deducted while working for the Commonwealth (windfall and government offset). They will answer questions on what happens when you retire and want to start claiming (depending if you have contributed in the past) and turning 65 and the Medicare impact.
