Homecoming Weekend

Homecoming is our annual celebration that brings our entire community together for an amazing fall weekend on our beautiful campus.

An amazing weekend of celebrations are planned for Fitchburg State's Falcons from yesterday and today. All Falcons and their families and the public are invited to attend. Homecoming 2024 will be held Friday, Oct. 18 to Sunday, Oct. 20.

Friday, Oct. 18

Pep Rally, 2 p.m., Main Quadrangle

Cheer on the Falcons as they gear up for a weekend of athletic competition and school spirit.

Carnival, 3-10 p.m., Ross Street Parking Lot
All students, faculty, staff, alumni, families, and the community are invited to celebrate our athletic teams and the opening of Homecoming weekend with a visit to campus. Rides, games, food and more! Tickets are free for Fitchburg State students and must be reserved in advance on FalConnect.

  • Tickets for Fitchburg State alumni, staff and faculty are $5.
  • Tickets for the general public are $10 ($5 for children under 12) and must be purchased in advance. Quantities are limited.

Saturday, Oct. 19

10 a.m., Falcons Tailgate, Wallace Civic Center Parking Lot

Gear up for the big game with a tailgate in the Civic Center lot, along with food trucks and cornhole.

12 p.m. Football Game, Elliot Field

The Falcons host the Mass. Maritime Academy Buccaneers. There will be a beer garden next to the field.

The Falcons welcome the Owls of Westfield State.

7 p.m. Dance and Casino Night, Athletics and Recreation Center

Come party the night away with ALL your fellow Falcons - alumni, students,  faculty, staff, family, and friends. Dancing, casino games, photo props, desserts and a cash bar. Free admission.
