In Memoriam

Jeff Godin
Jeffrey Godin a member of our Exercise and Sports Science Department faculty since 2000, passed after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Jeff’s long and meritorious service to the university included excellence in the classroom as an instructor, advisor and mentor, as well as working with university athletes as head of performance and sports science. He was an inspiring figure to the students, athletes and colleagues with whom he worked, a boundless source of encouragement and positivity. As much as he sought to improve the physical performance of his student-athletes, he brought an exemplary commitment to his students’ academic success by holding his own practice to the highest standards.
