Biography

My research interest lies in the intersection of artificial intelligence, especially Natural Language Processing, and education. My doctoral research is on semantic representation learning at word and sentence level. Another direction I have been working in is using generative Large Language Models and other NLP techniques to create an automated grading and feedback system to assist both instructors in teaching and students in learning. I am also interested in developing applied machine-learning algorithms to model the psychological and cognitive processes in learning. Besides research, I am passionate about teaching and how to make AI work for education.
