Security Updates

Keep your operating system up-to-date by installing security updates. We recommend you configure your computer update settings to automatically check for and install updates.

macOS

Click on the Apple icon on the upper left of your computer. Choose "App Store..." and click "Updates" to download any available updates.

Windows

Use Windows Update to download and install available updates from Microsoft.

Upgrade Your Operating System

Upgrade your computer operating system to a newer version if the version installed on your computer is old and no longer supported by the manufacturer.

macOS

The latest version of macOS is available for free through the Apple App Store.
