A common complaint from students is that they receive too many emails. This makes it difficult to identify messages containing important information. The Student Success Task Force suggested targeting emails to specific groups of students as a means to improve communication.
Below are email addresses that approved departments can use to send emails to our students, based upon their enrollment type at acceptance to the University.
Please note that certain communications may require sending the email to multiple groups.
If you need to send a message and don't have access, please use the Campus Communications Request form to request that the Office of the Director of Communications and Public Affairs send the message on your behalf. Alternatively, you may request access to the above lists by submitting a Help Desk ticket.

Undergraduate Day
This includes undergraduate day students.
Undergraduate Evening - non-AP
This includes SGOCE undergraduates students from the following programs:
- Interdisciplinary Studies
- Occupational Education
- Early Childhood Education and Care
- LPN-BS in Nursing
- Business
Undergraduate Evening - AP
This includes only students from the RN-BS in Nursing Program.
Graduate - non-AP
This includes students from all graduate programs except those students enrolled in the online 7-week accelerated MBA, M.Ed. in Curriculum in Teaching, the M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and the MBA graduate certificate programs.
Graduate - AP
This includes only students enrolled in the online 7-week accelerated MBA, M.Ed. in Curriculum in Teaching, the M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and the MBA graduate certificate programs.
Please note that these programs are all offered in both the online accelerated model through Academic Partnerships and in the campus and hybrid based models. This email group includes only those students enrolled in the online 7-week accelerated program model.
Extended Campus - includes Graduate & Undergraduate
This includes only students enrolled in programs or courses that are offered off-campus in collaboration with a partner organization. For information on the off-campus sites please visit the Extended Campus webpage.
On-Campus Students
This includes students who are enrolled in courses that meet on-campus.
Off-Campus Students
This includes students who are enrolled in courses that meet off-campus.
