CrossCurrents: A Curated Student Exhibition

About This Event

Gallery Marquee is a new community-based art gallery at 699 Main Street in Fitchburg. Gallery Marquee in conjunction with a grant provided by Fitchburg Creative City Partnership, is pleased to announce the opening of CrossCurrents, a curated student exhibition showcasing the best new art from: 

• Fitchburg State University 
• Fitchburg High School 
• Leominster High School 
• Oakmont Regional High School 

Exhibition dates: June 8 - August 10, 2024 

Gallery Marquee has a commitment to making art accessible to diverse artists and audiences. This exhibition celebrates the strength and variety of artwork recently created by students at Fitchburg State University and three of our regional high schools. The show features about 60 artworks encompassing a range of artistic media, including drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed-media art. The public is invited to view the exhibition at the opening reception, and throughout the summer during our regular gallery hours. 

Gallery Summer Hours: 
Thursdays from 12 - 7 p.m.
Saturdays from 12 - 4 p.m.
