Biography

Dr. Robert Shapiro has a Ph. D. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Simmons College.  He is an Assistant Professor and Chair of the Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorders certificate programs.  He is the founder of Shapiro Educational & Behavioral Consultants, an agency providing Applied Behavior Analysis supports for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders throughout Central Massachusetts.  Previously, he served as the clinical director of the Darnell School, a private school for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders in Hudson, MA, and as a Behavior Analyst and administrator at the Devereux School.  He has also provided behavior analytic consultation to more than 20 school districts and private agencies, targeting improved student behavior management and acquisition of learning targets.
