Emergency Funding

Did you know that Fitchburg State University can assist in securing additional funds during emergency situations, or when unanticipated expenses arise? We invite you to submit a request for Emergency Funding below. A team will review your request and be in contact with how they can support you in response to your request.

Support for Emergency Funding comes in the form of institutional funds, federal aid, grants provided by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the generosity of alumni, donors and friends of Fitchburg State University. If you wish to contribute to our mission of supporting students, we welcome you to do so below, and thank you for your generous support.

Falcon Bazaar

The Falcon Bazaar Food and Necessities Pantry is a resource on campus for students experiencing food insecurity. Donations can be dropped off, or ordered directly from our wish list, and they'll be delivered to the pantry. The pantry is located in Hammond Hall, G15.

Help You Need, When You Need It

Academic Coaching and Tutoring (ACT) Center

We offer free tutoring in all majors. Meet with an academic coach or peer mentor for both academic and social support. The Placement Test Center administers required placement tests in algebra, reading, writing and foreign languages.

Care Team

The CARE Team includes representatives from across the institution, with a focus on reaching out to students whose behavior has in some way has come to the attention of others. We determine a plan of action (if deemed appropriate and needed) that is in the best interest of the student and the campus community.

Falcon Bazaar and Professional Clothing Closet

The Falcon Bazaar Necessity and Food Pantry and Professional Clothing Closet is located in Hammond Hall, G level and serves our students, faculty, and staff who may suffer from food insecurity. It is a free service.
