Fitchburg State has joined hundreds of institutions nationwide to participate in the federal COVID-19 College Vaccine Challenge.

A student is placed on the Dean’s List for the semester if an average grade of 3.20 or better is attained, and the student is attending the university full time. The President’s List honors students achieving a 3.75 average in each of three successive semesters.

Shaniah Greene ‘22 is anxious to do her part to make a more energy-secure future. The junior chemistry major will spend the summer as an intern at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colo.

Fitchburg State will house up to five students a year through the state's Moving to College program, whose goal is to help homeless and housing insecure students earn college degrees and certificates of value.

The agreement calls for both institutions to engage in activities that are mutually beneficial, as well as activities that help support the economy, livability, and quality of life in the city of Fitchburg and North Central Massachusetts.
