The reception and tour was designed to show the wide economic and cultural impact the performing arts center will have on the city and region.

The white coat ceremony signifies a pivotal transition in the lives of the sophomore nursing students.

The funding will help raise awareness of the support services available to students on campus and in the community, in addition to providing direct assistance to students.

A student is placed on the Dean’s List for the semester if an average grade of 3.20 or better is attained, and the student is attending the university full time. The President’s List honors students who achieve a 3.75 average in each of three successive semesters.

The tour gave students a hands-on, community-based project in their first year at Fitchburg State, offering real-world professional experience that they can use for their portfolios.

The training furthers the university’s efforts to provide real-time mental health support to students.

The funds will go toward the development of a “black box” theater to be constructed adjacent to the main theater building in the downtown performing arts center.

Looking to grow its internal human potential, Seaman Paper in Gardner contacted Fitchburg State Business Administration Department Chairman Michael Greenwood.

The graduating class included students from 30 states and four countries.

“With its devoted and talented faculty and staff, committed Board of Trustees, engaged student body, and visionary leadership, Fitchburg State University is well positioned to prepare ‘students to lead, serve, and succeed’ well into the future,” the commission stated.
