The School of Business and Technology (B&T) offers 19 majors across three academic departments. We align our programs with national accrediting bodies, ensuring that Fitchburg State students gain the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in today’s global economy. Our programs are thoughtfully designed to combine strong foundational knowledge with high-impact practices such as advanced capstone projects and internships. In addition, our students are able to study abroad, present at conferences, and participate in community-based service learning activities.
Our exceptional facilities include laboratories designed for hands-on, inquiry-based learning. Students have access to updated software and equipment, enabling them to develop skills that meet current industry standards. Our classrooms are purposefully designed to support innovative teaching as well as classroom discussions, presentations, and active learning.

The School of Business fuses academics and practical experience through our programs and areas of concentration. Our programs equip students with the essential knowledge of business theories, practical business skills, and innovative technology; then apply that knowledge strategically and ethically along with the ability to adapt to world changes. We strive for excellence through continual improvement and engagement with local business leaders.
