We have over 200 MassTransfer linked programs. Graduating from an approved MassTransfer program at a Massachusetts state community college entitles you to several benefits.
Some of our majors are highly competitive. As such, higher admissions standards may be applied and space cannot be guaranteed in programs such as Game Design and LPN-BSN and RN-BSN.
- Guaranteed admission to Fitchburg State linked programs
- Guaranteed transfer of 60-75 credits, including some D (1.0) grades
- Waiver of general education courses
- Day students who graduate from a linked MassTransfer program with a 3.0 GPA or higher may also qualify for the MassTransfer Tuition Waiver

We have a number of additional transfer agreements with various Massachusetts state community colleges. These do not include the General Education Foundation, but do match well with the bachelor degree program to which they are linked. Students who graduate from a linked (approved) additional transfer agreement program at a Massachusetts state community college are entitled to the following:
- Guaranteed admission to some of the Fitchburg State linked programs (note: some highly competitive majors only allow acceptance on a space-available basis)
- Guaranteed transfer of 60-75 credits, including some D (1.0) grades
- Day students who graduate from a linked Additional Transfer Agreement program with a 3.0 GPA or higher may also qualify for the MassTransfer Tuition Waiver
