About This Event
Test your global knowledge in this flag identification challenge. The flags represent where our current international students have come from. Anyone can participate in the challenge.
Check out the flag poster by the Hammond elevator (Lower level, near the Bistro) and enter your answers via QR code on the poster or this Google form. Prizes will be awarded to the participants who have the most correct answers!
Location of the Flag Poster: Hammond Elevator Lower Level (near the Bistro)
Dates: Nov. 18-22, 2024: Contest is open from Nov. 18-21
Awards are on Nov. 22 at 11:30 a.m. in the Tower Lounge (Hammond first floor). To redeem your prize, you must be present at the Award Ceremony on Nov. 22, at 11:30 a.m. at Tower Lounge (Hammond first floor).
Refreshments will be provided.
Also from November 18-22, join us in an International Dining Experience at Holmes Dining Hall. Chartwells has curated a special international menu each day during the International Education Week:
- Monday (Lunch starts at 11:15 a.m.): Asia – Korean favorites like Take a Bao and Kkanpung Saeu.
- Tuesday (Dinner starts at 4:30 p.m.): Africa – Nigerian and Ghanaian-inspired Jollof Rice with Spiced Chicken and Plantains.
- Wednesday (Lunch starts at 11:15 a.m.): South America – Colombian and Peruvian flavors featuring Pollo a la Brasa with Aji Verde Sauce.
- Thursday (Dinner starts at 4:30 p.m.): North America – Traditional U.S. Thanksgiving Meal.
- Friday (Lunch starts at 11:15 a.m.): Europe – Irish Corned Beef Dinner and Shepherd’s Pie.
