Commuter Affairs Office and Commuter Lounge

The Commuter Affairs Office is located on the Ground Level of the Hammond Campus Center. The office is staffed by undergraduate Commuter Assistants who can answer your questions about commuter life, sign out lockers, and assist you in learning about your off-campus housing options. The lounge features comfortable couches and chairs, high-top tables, and a large television.

North Street Bistro

The North Street Bistro is a great space to take a break for lunch, to meet with other students for class projects, and to study. Located in the lower level of the Hammond Building, The North Street Bistro offers a variety of grab-and-go eating options that are ideal for a commuter’s busy schedule.

Campus Quad

The Campus Quad, located between the main academic buildings on campus, provides a quiet and inviting outdoor setting on campus, whether you're studying, eating, or playing Frisbee between classes.

Hammond Campus Center

The Campus Center is a busy place with many daytime activities and opportunities for commuters to get involved. Whether you attend a Commuter Conversations session for lunch to chat with other commuters or go to meet a friend for lunch, it’s a great central location on campus to go between your classes during the day. The campus bookstore, Game Room, Student Government, Fitchburg Activities Board, and Office of Student Development as well as individual meeting rooms are all located in this building.

Holmes Dining Hall

Holmes Dining Hall, accessible from both the Residential Campus and the Academic Campus, offers a wide variety of dining options. For more information on the commuter meal plan, visit Dine On Campus.

Library

The Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Library is located on the top floor of the Hammond Campus Center. For information on everything from study hours to checking out books, visit the library website.

Hammond Main Lounge

The Main Lounge, located just outside the library in the Hammond Building, provides a quiet and relaxing atmosphere for studying, eating or relaxing with friends and is also home to many campus events throughout the year.

Recreation Center
