Veterans Information - Disability Services

United States Flag

Fitchburg State University, and the Disability Services Office, continue to fulfill our commitment to our student veterans. In that spirit, we want to remind student-veterans that the Disability Services Office is a free, private, and confidential service where staff is available to assist with academic concerns that arise during a student’s enrollment at the University.

Additionally, the University has partnered with the (Bedford, MA) Veterans Administration Medical Center to offer the VITAL (Veterans Integration to Academic Leadership) program on our campus, for student-veterans whose needs may also be fulfilled by this resource. VITAL offers an impressive array of support services for student-veterans, and can be accessed through the Veterans Center (Thompson Hall), or by contacting alisa.bennett@va.gov, or anthony.sivos@va.gov. Additional information can be found at their website VITAL Program or by email at vavital@va.gov.
