FSU Alert: Because of the severe snowstorm forecast for this weekend, the university will be closed Saturday, Jan. 29 except for essential operations.

Because of the severe snowstorm forecast for this weekend, the university will be closed Saturday, Jan. 29 except for essential operations.

All in-person Saturday classes are canceled.

Hammond Hall, including the Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Library and the North Street Bistro, will be closed for the day Saturday.

Also, the Athletics and Recreation Center will be closed for the day, and any athletic contests will be postponed.

Meal service for residential students will run on its normal Saturday schedule at the Holmes Dining Commons.

Take shelter now in a basement or interior room or lowest floor of a sturdy building, If you are outdoors or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
