The interdisciplinary minor of Data Analytics is designed to serve students who want to develop computational, graphical and analytic skills related to data.
The minor provides students with basics in statistical and mathematical analysis, computational skills with relevant software as well as experience in geospatial and GIS analysis fields.
Student who complete this minor will be able to:
- analyze data sets in a manner that includes basic statistics, grouping, plotting
- perform computational tasks on data
- perform geospatial and GIS-related analysis of an appropriate dataset
- draw and communicate conclusions from the analysis
