National Library Week: Fictional Librarian Showdown!

April 6th - 12th is National Library Week!

As we celebrate libraries, we want to know who do you think is the most iconic fictional librarian!?!  We are spending the week with a little tournament of famous librarians from across genres and media to see who at the end of the week comes out on top.

You can vote both in person, on the whiteboard by the Library's entrance, as well as online on either of our social media channels. Just follow @fsulibrary on Facebook or Instagram.

Voting will start Tuesday, April 8th with Round 1:

  • Cartoon Librarians: Turtle Princess, Adventure Time VS  Owl Librarian Spirit Wan Shi Tong, Avatar the Last Airbender 
  • Super Hero Librarians: Wong, Doctor Strange (Marvel) VS Dr. Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl (DC)
  • 90s Cult Classic Librarians: Evie, The Mummy  VS Rupert Giles, Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Librarians Can Be Funny: Tammy Swanson (aka Tammy II), Parks and Recreation VS Tasha “Taystee” Jefferson & Poussey Washington, Orange is the New Black
